Here at Bromley Town Church, we value home-based small group meetings as a focus for encouraging friendship, discipleship and mutual accountability - all which we know to be an essential part of our Christian life and spiritual growth.
Our groups each have an appointed leader and a support/host couple who are there to offer support to the leader and help to the group. Every group develops individually, but our aim in meeting together in this way is to learn to trust and obey and to fulfill Jesus’ commands to love God and to love our neighbour as ourselves. There are core elements in each evening which include the sharing of revelation from our Bible reading and experiences of our walk with God, as well as times of prayer and seeking God together. All these develop fellowship, growth in knowing God and encourage us to reach out in love for the lost and are part of our seeking to build prayer and worship altars in our lives for ourselves, our families, our community and our nation at this time.
Groups meet on various nights of the week so that there should be an opportunity for even the busiest of us to find an evening that suits us. Everyone is free to choose which group to attend, but the idea is to find a group to settle and grow with.
Our groups meet on the basis of 3 weeks out of every 4, as we are continuing with our monthly Prosper and Inspire evenings in the first week of each month.
