Why I am here?
God speaks in many ways. Audibly, through his word, through pictures, through other people and through circumstances. Any which way He deems best. Things shift, we pray and in His timing God makes his purposes known and although we don’t always fully understand, we make decisions.
Taking the role of Youth Worker at Bromley Town Church feels like God bringing circumstances into place in His time. It’s in many ways a charge – “You have heard, you have seen, you are being envisioned by my purposes now fulfil them… And I’ll be your strength and your rock.”
That’s why I’m here. I’m here to serve Him and in turn the Church. To raise up disciples to seek first the Kingdom and in turn see the Kingdom come here, in Bromley. It’s a tough charge, but it’s not about me.
What I’m going to do?
At Bromley Town Church we want to see young people grow into adults that know God. Young people full of aspiration and full of life.
I hope to instil that in our young people. Hope, excitement and freedom. We have activities taking place every week here at the Church. We hope they will evolve into times when teenagers feel accepted, loved, encouraged and above all at home.
