‘ALLSORTS’ is a fantastic morning of fun for babies, preschoolers and their parents and carers. ALLSORTS began in April 1988 and is run by a small team of CRB checked enthusiastic helpers. We seek to provide a clean, safe, fun environment for the children to learn and play and adults to enjoy time together. You’re guaranteed a warm welcome and friendly greeting when you arrive. Everyone is welcome to visit on a Thursday morning, but we do currently have a waiting list. There is a small weekly charge of £1.50 per family, which covers refreshments for all the family.
During the morning ……children are free to choose from a wide range of toys and equipment, from puzzles to play dough, train sets, cars, duplo and the home corner.
Babies have their own special place to play in.
Structured activities include ‘story time’, during which the children are offered a drink and biscuit whilst they enjoy a quieter moment listening to a story being told, often with puppets and visual aids.
Music Time happens at the end of the morning where we encourage the children to join in action songs and play with musical instruments.
Allsorts Yourtime
Once a month on a Friday morning, we have a coffee morning for mums, dads and carers upstairs in The Lounge. This is chance for you to relax and chat; we usually have a theme for the week, while the children can play (in the Lounge too) with the helpers.
Space is very limited here but do talk to Margaret or a member of the ALLSORTS Team if you are interested in coming to Yourtime.
